Maternity Photoshoot in Poole, Dorset

The journey of motherhood is so precious and beautiful, and I am so glad you want to capture those memories from the very start.

I recommend booking your maternity photoshoot for around 30 weeks. We can talk about what location you would like - I have lots of suggestions. The sessions lasts around one hour and I usually suggest that we schedule it for evening golden hour if your photoshoot is outside, so that we can take advantage of the glowy, golden even light.

Let’s talk about what you should wear. I am here to help you get the most out of your session, so you are more than welcome to show me outfit ideas you have. I also have a variety of beautiful maternity dresses that you can choose from. I recommend wearing muted colours, earth tones and neutrals as these compliment my style of editing.

So now the shoot date is here! What can you expect? First if all, partners and siblings are welcome. I take a variety of photos including empowering photos of you, photos with your other children and bump and also with your partner and all together.

My maternity sessions are always incredibly relaxed, and should feel fun and empowering. If you have other children I always play fun games whilst giving little prompts to help keep them engaged.

My style of photography is relaxed and intimate. So you can expect some beautifully tender moments captured forever. Although I do not completely stage photos and like to let your story play out naturally, I do give some prompts during the session to help you.

After the photoshoot, your gallery will be with you between 3-4 weeks. I also offer a 10% discount off both sessions when you also book a newborn photoshoot.
